Kayaking Tours

Paddling sorrounded by nature!

Very special forests live in the roots of the sea, above and below water.
The mangrove ecosystem is one of the most important in the world, as they sequester much more CO2 than any other forest, contribute as a flood barrier, prevent coastal erosion, are a refuge and food source for marine invertebrates, birds, reptiles, and mammals, among many other reasons to promote their conservation.

The tour consists of a circuit of several kilometers with a diversity of tropical landscapes, from rivers, canals, estuary, mangrove, and tropical forest. The
ecology of Damas Island and its surroundings is known for its mangrove estuaries and its biodiversity of flora and fauna. The fauna includes many wild animals such as white-faced monkeys, sloths, green iguanas, crabs, turtles, crocodiles, raccoons, anteaters, and numerous species of birds.

Part of our ecotourism initiative promotes the garbage collection program in the mangroves, considering that in addition to recovering the health of the mangrove and its ecosystem, we are generating awareness and educating those involved in collection and cleaning.

The kayak tour is an ideal getaway to learn and connect closely with the water element, the tranquility of the waters makes it easy to paddle, usually the currents are very soft. We also have very good kayak equipment, single and double kayaks, they are the best option to navigate accompanied or individually. Ideal for family adventures, as it can go an extra adult person in the central seat, becoming triple and with padded seats for greater comfort. They can be equipped with fishing accessories if it is for a conscious consumption of marine life.

It will be an unforgettable experience in one of the most important habitats for the conservation of marine and terrestrial biodiversity.

A wonderful way to spend a few hours near Quepos / Manuel Antonio. We got to see SO many animals and learn about this special habitat. The boat was comfortable, and it was very relaxing — good for all ages! Our guide was terrific, and the lunch afterward was delicious. Highly recommended!

We did the night tour and it was amazing! Our tour guide Janier was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun! Heyner was also very knowledgeable and helped spot out a lot of the animals. Fiorela was so sweet and made us feel comfortable since my friend was a little scared. We saw a lot of the nightlife of the beautiful Costa Rica. I highly recommend coming here!

We booked the Mangrove Kayaking Tour. It was a great experience: very quit floating on the water, a lot to be seen and very well explained by the guide. This quite and soundless behaviour gave us a very good insight into the nature wildlife. We especially very appreciate, that this company does not feed the monkeys!

We thoroughly enjoyed our night time tour. It was so peaceful to be on the water at night. The guides were informative and very friendly and we were lucky enough to see a large crocodile in the water! Along with frogs, basilisks, birds, crabs and more.
