Nacarcosta is<\/strong> a family business, its name represents the essence of our family. In Spanish the \u2018\u2019N\u00e1car\u2019\u2019 nacre in English, also known as mother of pearl, is a biomineral very precious that we find in the coast.
Costa Rica is committed to the conservation and preservation of its biodiversity. We are part of responsible tourism in natural areas that support the well-being of the local population, engage in education and good practices without compromising the balance of nature.<\/p>\n

We encourage our visitors during kayak or boat tours to collect garbage in the mangrove canals, to contribute to a positive change and to enjoy a more beautiful coast.<\/p>\n

Land-use management system in which trees are grown in agricultural landscapes. We make our own compost, part of what we grow includes coconuts, bananas, pineapple, pitahaya or dragon fruit, cassava, passion fruit, sugarcane, corn, medicinal plants, and tropical flowers.<\/p>\n

We promote sustainable tropical architecture and landscaping, using the flora and materials that we can easily obtain from our environment, native to our region. Building a mimetic architecture and according to the landscape, wood, bamboo, and palm used, for example, come from our farm or local farms to generate community. The material extracted from nature is reforested to maintain the balance in the ecosystem.<\/p>\n
